The next Public Schools of Robeson County Board of Ed, board meeting will be held Tuesday, November 11, 2008, 6PM. Please come early!
The Hitting Stops Here! organization will present with four speakers. Our goal is to have the board and the community understand more clearly, the urgency of protecting children from the harmful effects of corporal punishment. Come hear the alarming statistics against children who are beaten by teachers compared to those who are treated with dignity, respect and civilized standards. If you support "ditching the stick" and are in favor of teachers being trained in using models of discipline that teach peace and respect, please show your community by attending this important meeting. Your presence will advocate protection for children in this district.
